Know-how

Textile heating elements

Our textile heating elements can be operated with a voltage of 1 volt to 400 volts, this can result in a heat development of up to 450°C. Unlike woven or knitted fabrics, our textile heating elements can be designed so that the heat is generated where it is actually needed.

Features of textile panel heating

Voltage range ; Power: 1 – 400 Volt / DC + AC ; bis 10.000 W/m²
Temperature range: up to 450°C
Maximum L;W;H: 1800mm ; 1000mm ; 1mm - 300mm (depending on material)
Contact types: Crimping technology, soldering technology, welding technology
Electrical connection: Single wires, cable, plug contacts
Temperature control: Bimetallic controller, fuse, electronic regulation
Base materials: e.g. cotton, polyester, nomex, aramid, glass fiber, silicone, etc....
Sewing thread: Cotton, polyester, nomex, aramid, various blends e.g. steel-nomex
Heating conductor: Copper, constantan, stainless steel, various alloys
Insulation of the heating conductors: Lacquer up to 180°C, PVC, PU, PTFE, Textile E-Glass, Textile Quartz
Features: Resistance to acid, beta- gamma rays and X-rays, high flexibility, high conformability
Mounting, fastening: Self-adhesive, hooks, eyelets, textile adhesive, velcro, silicone adhesive

Fiber laying

A variety of methods are known for reinforcing textile fiber composites, a variety of processes are known. These textile constructions can be woven, knitted, knitted or braided. In addition, there is now a completely new process, the "laying" of fiber composites, which is used by us.

Advantages of TFP technology

  • Reproducibility +/- 0.mm
  • Locally different fiber orientations
  • Nearly waste free
  • Very good drapeability
  • Good handling and compact components

Textile sensors

We manufacture textile sensors entirely according to your needs. Whether moisture, touch, stretch or pressure. Textile can do a lot!

Properties of textile sensor technology
